INNER LANDSCAPES Three Month self-discovery journey through Poetry writing and Artistic creation

Step into the depths of your own psyche and embark on a transformative three-month journey of self-discovery, creative expression, and inner revelation. INNER LANDSCAPES is a course designed to guide you through the rich terrain of your imagination, where poetry, drawing, active imagination, and body-based practices become gateways to the symbols, images, and totems that live within you. Over three stages—Entering the Inner Waters, Delving into the Depths, and Emerging with the Gift—you will explore and honor the hidden realms of your inner world. Through creative exploration and practices rooted in intuition and instant poetry, you will connect with your deeper creative self, allowing your unconscious to speak through the language of art. Whether through words, images, or movement, this journey will empower you to bring the treasures of your inner landscapes into form, crafting works that share revelations, and bridge you to the world and to others. It is a pilgrimage into the unknown, a dance of silence and sound, where the poem knows you even before you have the words for it.

MONTH 1- Stage 1: Entering the Inner Waters

In this first stage, we begin by meeting our inner creative voices, hearing their current and following their course, just below the surface. This phase is all about discovery, expression and liberation, where we will learn how to follow your creative voice and leave the internal editor/censor behind. Through instant poetry writing, free-flow drawing, meditation, and techniques of active imagination, you will start to unearth and release the words, images, emotions, and symbols that reside in your psyche. We will learn how to navigate the yang (active, creative, generator) and yin forces (listening, deepening, receptive) in an instant creative dance. This stage encourages you to open up and venture into the unknown, following the poem's voice, listening to its newborn spirit. It is said that the poem knows more about ourselves than what we know of it. We will learn how to follow it, as we lead our own journey into the depth. Taking this approach we will also learn how to travel to and inhabit silence, as the most fertile ground, from which new material can arise. We will dive courageously into the discovery of our inner landscapes, surrendering to the current and listening to the poem as it begins to take form within us, through hand, heart and mind. The poem as a space for revelation.

MONTH 2- Stage 2: Delving into the Depths

In this stage, we turn our attention to our Totems: specific words, images, symbols that surfaced in the first phase. Now, you are invited to deepen your engagement with the material that resonates most within. This is an intimate exploration—a journey through chosen "rooms" within your inner landscape, where we will focus on particular symbols, atmospheres/spaces, or sensations that call for further attention. Through poetry writing, sensory perception practices, collage, and guided inner travels, we will explore these chosen elements with curiosity, innocence and presence. We will honor what emerged by giving it focus, further exploration and intentionality. Also by offering our /not knowing gaze. It’s a pilgrimage of sorts, allowing you to recognize and dialogue with the material that attracts you, gaining clarity and meeting revelation. We will work with the symbols that called your attention the most, understanding their role and presence in your inner landscape as we also learn their meaning according to universal archetypal imagery.

MONTH 3 - Stage 3: Emerging with the Gift

As we arrive at the final stage, the journey culminates in bringing your inner discoveries into the outer world, transforming them into an artwork that feels true and tangible. Whether it’s a collection of poems, drawings, a combination of both, a visual piece, a melody, or a dance, this phase is about honoring and embodying what emerged from the process. Through creative synthesis, reflection, and sharing, you will be guided in order to craft a unique piece that contains the heart of your inner landscapes. You will make something that others can see, hear, or feel. Something that speaks on its own, without the need to be explained. This will also be a time of integration—a chance to reflect on the process, the symbols uncovered, and the journey traveled. As you emerge with this gift from your inner world, you’ll be accompanied with guidance, feedback and input to communicate and honor your creative voice in ways that can inspire you and connect with the world / others.

H0W IT WORKS

🔹 Each month begins with an online -live session (75 min) where we will work on each stage's content. After our session you will receive an email with a document for the follow-up work, with creative exercises, work proposals and input.

🔹 You’ll have 10 days to respond to this email and send back the document with your work before our next live session and the second follow-up of the Month.

You can decide when to start, and from that day we will go on for 3 months (Latest date to begin end of May 2025). For the live sessions, we will agree on a day and time.

You will need a notebook and a pen, as well as a device that

allows you to access a zoom meeting. Nothing more!

* Six follow-up emails, with a working live document (2 per month)
