Improvisation - Instant composition

In these sessions, we will study and practice the inner drives and dynamic principles of improvised dance materials and pieces. We will exercise our freedom by embodying choices that talk to the space and to others with clarity. We will move in initiation and response, manifesting and creating pieces in the instant. The poetic language of dance. The body that receives, acts, navigates, and observes the essence, nature, configuration and atmosphere of each newborn piece. The class is offered as a regular practice and a performance project. At the last block of the sessions, a short piece will be made for the participants. This piece will be performed and showed to the public in order to share the work that has been done during the whole year and give the participants an opportunity to perform through improvised vocabulary. This is an open invitation, participants are not required to commit to this from the beginning in order to assist to the sessions.
